Back to Healthy
TRUTH. Last year was ROUGH for me health wise. I was recovering from a knee injury, I started having chronic daily headaches and …. to add insult to injury, I came down with the flu during the holidays! While dealing with all those challenges, my level of activity greatly decreased while my eating INCREASED.
NEW YEAR. At the beginning of this year, I looked more like the pic on the left (minus a few pounds) … NOT a healthy weight for me. I was low on energy and fitness; I did NOT feel good.
TRANSFORM. I want to get back to that picture on the RIGHT! Fit and strong! I have already started on this journey – and I WILL GET THERE! I am halfway through my 80 day program. It sounds like a long way to go but I’m just taking it day by day and I am trying to embrace each workout and each healthy meal that I’m putting in my body.
PROGRESS. I have lost 6 pounds and 9 inches. I see some definition in my arms, my pants are looser, my healthy foods give me great energy for my workouts and for work. Nutrition. Exercise. I’m focusing on BOTH.
GOALS. I am putting this goal out here so you can hold me accountable. I know I will hit plateaus, I know I will be tempted to binge. I am sure I will want to skip workouts. I am definitely not perfect and I will stumble along the way. Kudos to everyone else who is working on their health too! What is your goal?
