A fact that I hate to Admit
ADMISSION…. (and I hate posting this in public) I am the heaviest I’ve been in TEN YEARS!
I am not happy with this, in fact, this is the time of year when I tend lose my winter weight. Instead, I went the opposite direction.
I blame working from home during COVID. I also blame poor eating habits while at HOME.
In reality, I only have myself to blame. I really need to eat HEALTHIER and BETTER.
I know that you might tell me that I should stop worrying about the scale, that this is a vanity thing, and I guess that could be partly true.
While it’s true…. that I want to be slimmer and look better, I do want to be LEANER, STRONGER and FASTER in my sport. I want to be a postive example for my kids and my neices/nephews of how to be live healthy. I also want my weight to be in a good range for my health.
So here is my promise to myself:
• drink LOTS of water
• eat MORE veggies
• choose REAL foods
• THINK before eating those empty carbs 🚫
• SAVOR each bite I take of food – don’t choke it down
• eat PROTEIN with each meal
Oh and yes, this PickyBar is part of of my healthy diet. It’s made from real foods and its nutrient balance makes it the perfect after activity snack!
